Good morning,
"What do you want to do with your life?" is a question that we hear throughout a lifetime. The answer is supposed to so simple, a doctor, a lawyer, a fireman, a police officer, etc. When the answer becomes complicated with uncertainty, you become the victim of judgmental ridicule. How can you be unsure about what you want to do with your life? How can you not have direction or ambition? The uncertainty has clouded the ambition because we expect the one clear response. That's what we know, right? What happens when you have that one that is beyond the response? Their ambition is to be the doctor and the lawyer. What's wrong with having more than one answer? What's wrong with being uncertain as to which you will do first instead of only pursuing one? No one said that your ambitions couldn't be beyond the one answer but we have limited ourselves based on expectations. The expectations to be that one great thing in life, when the door has been opened for multiple accomplishments to be achieved. Instead of the judgmental ridicule, where is the embrace for the supportive options? You are not uncertain and you don't have to choose one. Taking all of the thoughts and dreams, write them down, and make it all happen. No one said you can't. No one said there was ONE answer to a question filled with multiple possibilities. Stop limiting your possibilities with ONE answer. The answer is.....everything.
