Good afternoon, there’s a game played in the business world. The game is who you know not what you know. The game is held to a certain standard and played by the ones who wouldn’t make it if the words were reversed. The socialites, the brownnosers, the whistle blowers, etc become the elite praised to the utmost by their predecessors. Code of conduct is challenged by the foundation’s business ethics. Of course, the socialite can preach great business ethics while being a hypocrite intimately involved with their fellow co-worker. The whistle blowers can show great business ethics while throwing their enterprising ‘friend’ under the bus. The brownnoser can concur with great business ethics while kissing the posterior of the decision makers. Lines are crossed but what lines really matter? The enterprising person builds a wall and retreats, as they are outnumbered. The fire that once burned inside has dimmed. The battle is not over. The battle has just begun. Outnumbered or not there is something to fight for. There’s reason to be heard. There’s ambition to be seen. Fuel your fire with the hypocritical strategies they play. Gain the upper hand with your brain. You may be defeated by political illusions but remain undefeated by intellect. Those that believe they have the intelligence but socially blow brown whistles will not last long. Their intelligence is only a figment of their imagination. You have the security to surpass and survive. Your passion is your drive. There’s no losing battle as long as you’re fighting to win.
