Drowning in Life
Good afternoon, we are so wrapped in our own worlds that we forget that life exists outside of ourselves. In that instance, we are deaf and blind by our own concern. We miss the life that could be and can’t see what really is. Life is drowning us without a float or life jacket to save us. The waters surrounding us give us a blurry look into our lives and ourselves. Soul searching, re-evaluating, changing, growing is all a part of life but if we cannot see where we are going and have not realized where we have come from the journey is endless. We are constantly trying to fight the current to come up for air. Is it possible to breathe or will we suck in water to fill our lungs? There’s a life beyond what we can see. We do have to struggle to get there but we don’t have to drown. Life has so much to offer each of us at our own times. Stop fighting the way of life and ride the waves as they come. Keep your head above the waters to see the beautiful sky and feel the warm sun. Don’t ignore the sharks that are swimming next to you because they’re bite is fatal. Take caution where needed and remember your sun block. What may feel good and look beautiful isn’t always good for you. Your life affects the world even if minuscule. We may be drowning but we’re not dead yet.
