The Swinging Door
Good morning, we open and close doors each day but if we open the door and still see the same scene then we have never closed the door or just reopened the same door again. The actions may seem different but the results are still the same. We seldom want to change but the idea does pop in once in awhile but do we actually make the changes or do the thoughts just linger. Sometimes we make changes but have not resolved past issues to see a new scene. You cannot close a door without a resolution. If something in life keeps repeating including people, conversations, jobs, situations, etc. The door cannot close because we have not resolved the issue but have pushed it to the side as if not to deal with the issue. We cannot push things to the side and expect them not to resurface. Dealing with people even if you think you have resolved an issue on your end it may not be fully resolved on theirs and until it is on both ends it will resurrect itself within the relationship. There are consequences to all actions and affections to all implications. We just give a blind eye to these things at times because we don’t want to show weakness or live with the outcome. We fail ourselves each day we ignore the ramifications of our own actions and try to close a door that obviously isn’t complete. Setting boundaries and learning new ways of coping with matters of the heart and soul will direct us to open a new door that will close all others. We cannot expect new doors to open without closing the others completely. We will suffer the consequence if we are not careful. The sanity of others could be rested on our door step if we are not attentive to our deliberate unintentional manipulation. Fair warning, the new door may not be the scene we want but another scene we need to rectify the doors we thought we had closed. Be wise not stupid. Be aware not ignorant. Be mindful not naïve. The doors will open once evolution is in our resolution.
