Common Courtesy's Gift of Admiration
Good afternoon, we take without acknowledgement or appreciation. We take the givers for granted and the gifts given as if it is nothing and will always be there. The heart and thought that went into the bearing of gifts is not to be taken lightly. Abundance of admiration should be shown in return but we are so arrogant we have thrown the common courtesy rules out the window. The window of opportunity always presents itself to return the favor or return the gift if not appreciated or wanted. It should not be put in a box amongst constant gifts from random givers to be stored away and not shown gratitude. Lead not the giver into a shadow of unwanted souls because our own soul hasn’t yet reaped what it has sown. We find ourselves well surrounded but yet so lonely inside. The streets we walk are not the same and the fulfillment is not as filling. We have torn down walls that we should have left standing because we have uncovered things we cannot appreciate. Now we have tainted something so pure that could have given another of worth a gift of enchanting life. Instead we have stolen the glory and pocketed the materialistic things. We leave nothing behind but a breathless corpse without any shame. We feel unstoppable and invincible as if nothing can bring us the same pain. But those corpses we left behind will breathe life again and show no mercy on our souls. We have shown none to our encounters and should be treated the same. As we will be the giver one day and there will be a taker with no shame. Do not take if you cannot give and show gratitude in the same admiration as the giver has done for you. Common courtesy still weighs a heavy hand in life.
