The Button

Good morning, we all have a button that can be pushed and will drive us over the edge. Some have discovered it and play with it making us lose it from time to time. Others are searching for it aggravating them and us all at once. A simple button that doesn’t really exist triggers a series of events. How can something so simple be so complex? Yet we look at the world we live in and ask that very same question. When do we as a society get tired of being button pushers and learn to live life? We have no sense of who we really are because we have allowed ourselves to be manipulated by an antagonistic creature that has plagued our society. We turn on each other for a piece of pie that isn’t even homemade. We have forgotten where home is and how it feels to be there. We have lost touch with accepting others and respecting yourself. We have pushed our own buttons too many times that we don’t know how to find our way back. The enemy should not be yourself or thy neighbor. But it seems all is lost in this fictitious world we have created. There may not be a perfect world but what happened to the sane world; the world where things had its ups and downs but we were still on the same page. Does that world still exist or have we really become that ignorant. Maybe taking up some core values from our own military will help us survive. Never leave a fallen man behind, but how many have we already left to this pretentious and malicious world. Survival is vanishing before our eyes. What button will be pushed next?
