Catch 22's Gift or Curse

Good morning, the world is a catch twenty-two. You cannot live life with an open mind or heart without being taken advantage of. Being a good person is a curse and a gift but then again what isn’t. Seeing life from a different side is a gift but the cruelty of the world turns it into a curse. We try to break cycles but history still repeats. We try to honor the stigmas we have but the stereotypes are still beaten. Being the real you can be a hard pill to swallow with the status quo of the world. We speak of there being no “perfect” world but does it have to be perfect to be accepting. We don’t want to be alone but we don’t want to give each other the same chance of defining respect. Instead we crush each other every chance we get, killing spirits that could have been a helping hand. Everyone has an alter-ego but who is the real you? The alter-ego is your truth that you cannot define to the world so it becomes a scapegoat in a security blanket. We are all urging for a release from this illusion into a reality. We inspire with gifts and damage with curses. So why the catch twenty-two, guess it’s not “normal” to go against the status quo and embrace your alter-ego. The Earth was not given a catch twenty-two when it was given the gift of life so why have we changed it into a curse that seems to never die?

Remember to Forget

Good morning, we are so fueled with rage we forget about sensitivities. We horde animosity and become self absorbed. We forgot life isn’t perfect. We are selfish in every way. So selfish that we hurt one another and forget we are all affected. We forget that each of us are someone’s something. We are all human. Why hurt anyone when you would not want yourself or your loved one to hurt that same way? There are many blessings passing by because of the hurt we build up and hold on to. Harboring feelings that should pass through our system as if we just ate lunch instead we have indigestion. These are experiences of life to mature from not stunt your growth. Stop forgetting common sense and bring yourself back into the reality that the world does not revolve around you. You are one entity in a big world. Remember you are just like your neighbor. No reason to hurt your mother, father, sister or brother. We are all a family even if we don’t like each other. Build on it. There’s only one world, we have to share this space.

Scope of Difference

Good morning, there’s a quaint silence over the world. Immortality is nothing but a myth. We are all human with mistakes to be made. To believe that we are invincible is only in our head. We all bleed with every cut. To tell the truth we are fragile creatures of this land on a path to find where we belong. We crumble with each crack we step on and become hardened by each line we cross. We find ourselves in an uproar when we cannot grasp what life brings. We are undeniably fueled by emotion no matter how much we try to control it. We change our state of mind with each challenge we face. Just cause we trip doesn’t mean we have to fall. Making it doesn’t mean you have to be rich. The definition of life is ever changing and so are we. Bringing life about face and you will see the many colors that make up one whole world. We are all defined but with evolving classifications. Different doesn’t mean inhuman. It means we are all special in our own little way. Empower you for you are not promised a better tomorrow.

Good morning, there are many close negative vibes in our lives that we struggle to get rid of. Some are so close we can’t get rid of them. So what do we do? We try to control the negative force surrounding us by placing it in a container only allowing small doses. But sometimes we are not in control and allow excess exposure. Just like too much sun will damage our skin, too much negativity will damage our soul. We use sun block to prevent damage from the sun, finding a negative block will help prevent damage to your inner self. Positive karma brings upon a great light in your life. You will feel like you are flying through life with a glow around you. Lift yourself to a higher regime. Regain your positive life.

Life Priorities

Good morning, learning what priorities are will help you to focus your life on what’s really important. Many of us don’t know how to determine priorities in their life. We think we need everything, making it seem like everything is priority. Women believe me are priorities, wrong. Women can live without men, so how are they priorities? Men believe sex is a priority, wrong. Men can go without but chose not to. We make choices in life that should help us give precedence to the appropriate matters. Parents, your children are priorities over any and everything. You are a priority over your partner. Having stability should be a priority. Finding these things in life will give you a better outlook and better time management. The club will always be there but your friend may not. The streets will always be there but a career will not. Sex, drugs and violence will always be there but your life will not. Let’s see how you prioritize your life.

Preparation of Time

Good morning, life takes unexpected twists and turns but if you plan accordingly it won’t hit you as hard. Preparation is a key point of life. To prepare for the worst is to be aware of what’s next. Trying to be one step ahead of the game is always a positive thing. You take time to party but cannot take time for life. Put in work to prepare yourself for a path of success. Time is of the essence and you should manage yours well. For good time management is essential in planning. Rushing through life is a disadvantage to a steady pace. You will miss out on things that can make a grave difference. So stop and smell the roses once in a while, you may receive something you may need for your next adventure. Spare your time wisely; otherwise you won't realize when it’s being wasted.

Don't Give Up

Quitting is not an option because this is life. Life is hard and troublesome that can deter you from being sane. Make your bed and lay in it with dignity and grace. Good morning, we are heavily guarded in so many ways. We are afraid to lift the barriers that hide us from it all. We recondition ourselves to feel comfortable amongst the world, when deep inside we are still hurting. Bottled up with heavy locks on the door, we open up for no one not even ourselves. No way in and no way out, the sad truth of it all. Inside the box we miss out on the world. Strong hold on our heart we miss out on love. Damaged goods aren’t we all? Rearrange your mind to rearrange your soul. Pain is an inevitable feeling in the steps to find joy. You will never appreciate the joyous feelings of life if you have not suffered the pain first. Guard yourself from the inevitable, how? Always put your all into what you want even after you fall. Should one snake in the grass make you build a steel fence? Then you will not be able to let the sunshine in to nurture your soil. Now understand if the soil is poor here, you must move but no reason to waste good soil. Plant to flourish. Building walls destroys the earth and you have lost a piece of yourself. You cannot feel the warmth of the sun to grow within yourself to see another day. Break down the walls so you can bloom into the flower you really are. Let the beauty of the world breathe life back into your soul. Now breathe.

Same Space

Good morning, everyone has a place in this space that makes up the world. We all cannot be leaders because without followers there are no leaders. It is not to be beneath anyone but just your right place. We are all equal regardless of our social status. We all came in the same way and will go out the same. There is no difference. Do not stomp on the bug beneath your foot for it belongs here just as much as you. Give each other space to grow in their place. There are many mouths that depend on that place that you call home. So why deny thy neighbor to feed their humble abode. We are one in the same but with different names. We may grow at a different pace to find our place but we all occupy the same space.

Shining Star

Good morning, we rise then fall to get back up another day. We have so much but cannot see it. We are blinded by many different things. The pain we’ve held the ignorance we’ve displayed and the stroked ego we’ve grown over time may never heal. We reach for stars that we cannot touch but right before our eyes there shines a star. A star to grant every wish but you have not opened your heart and over time it becomes dim, slowly fading away. Now you’re wishing upon a star that’s so far and cannot hear your cry. If you had only opened your eyes to see, your hearts desire was only an arms length away. They say look before you cross the street before you get hit. Your blindness has made you fall flat on your face. It’s time to rise above it all. There’s an open hand you must grab hold before it closes. Become aware of your surroundings, educating your mind. You have pain that will heal over time if concentrate on your divine destiny. On your journey you will find that same star you denied. Here’s your second chance to try again. To see what you could not previously. Will your wish be granted or denied?

Inevitable Change

Good morning, changing into the person you would like to become is not as easy as saying the words. Rediscovering who you really are, remember is a journey of a lifetime but to find that niche, your passion, your desire is one step closer to your salvation. There will be many obstacles standing in your way but don’t at them as barriers blocking your way but challenges for you to overcome. Challenges are like your personal trainers preparing you for the big fight. Listen to them, learn from them and as you grow leave them behind. Always remember where you came from as a reminder not to fall back. Don’t be scared of your transformation. Embrace the metamorphosis procedure you are facing. Open your mind to inhale the stench of the everlasting revolution. This fight you will win if you can focus on your goal, “You”. There are many helping hands in find what you will call yourself and don’t deny them. But ultimately, it’s your mind, your soul, your destiny. Change is going to come; you just need to decide which direction you’re going in.

Sister's Pain (poem)

Sister I hear you crying
As momma is holding you near
Flip the circumstance
I’m pushed in the cold
Being scolded as if I am to blame.
Now is that fair.
We hurt the same, we cry the same
But why is only one to blame
You call on me to comfort you
as only a sister can do
Then she sweeps right in and takes over
She’s angry and mad at all the things
that have given you pain
To see me and flee as to give me “tough love”
Why have my open arms closed?
Resented for the mistakes she’s made but yet I pay
I pay with the life I lead each day
Tarnished by the pain of her path,
Left to die inside or pick up on my own.
Your pain is short lived on the outside at least
For the mall and spa have comforted you many a day
With help of momma paying your way
But I just close my eyes and watch the tears drop inside my heart
As I watch from outside the window like a little girl, lost
But on the outside I just sit and stare wondering when the window will open
And swing my way
I guess we only feel the same on the inside
And on the outside we’re just playing two different games.

Dead Weight

Lighten the weight off your shoulders. The heavy burdens you carry are not yours to bare. Release the anger and frustration of the adolescent craniums that cross your path in each waking day. "Turn the other cheek", they say. "Forgive and forget", rings in your ear. Taking in the words of wisdom that sound so simple but so hard to comply. You find strength within when you can comply. The heavens will bare all for you as long as you try. Find your strength each time you fire a blow or spit knives. The impact can be deadly to fallen ears.

Powerful Thought

Thinking about the thoughts that flow through your mind each day. Coming to the conclusion that we are not conscience of our thoughts and the impact they have on our every day life. Sit back and concentrate on the thoughts you have today, maybe you will impact a positive motion that will reflect us all.

Stop wasting your talents on nonsense little girl
Go out and adventure the big world
You’re too intelligent and strong to be sitting behind that desk
Raise yourself above the petty thieves that have stolen your gift
Crown yourself ‘Queen’ and make them bow at your feet
Take the risk of conquering the world in one short breath
You can do it as long as you put your mind to it
Don’t let anything stand in the way of glory
Your meaning and purpose has nothing to do with those gray walls
I see you pretty in pink and dazzling in diamonds
Flaunting green down the red carpet scenes
With flashing lights and screaming fiends
Doesn’t mean you’re a movie star or a famous musician
You can still be the one behind the scenes with all the glory and green
But before you hold your head too high
Don’t forget the past that brought you, your future
The people that helped you along the way
And the ones who said you would never make it
That is all important to stay true to yourself with handling success

The Simple Life

Good morning, simplicity is a rare find in this day. Nowadays we want it all in the worst of ways. To find the simple things in life is to appreciate the beauty in it. You can be wealthy and still not happy. You can be on the top of the world and still be lonely. Less is more and more is less. The richest person in the world is the most generous. The poorest person in the world is the greediest. Prosperity comes from within that will drive you on the outside. You can make your life beautiful with the simplest pieces. The world is not beautiful because of the human jewelry it wears but the naked scenery. Devour your simplicity and show how beautiful you really are. Become wealthy through your happiness made by minimal efforts. Striving is effortless if you really want it. The question is do you want and how bad?

Lose Some to Gain Some

Good morning, each day is a dawning of a new. Losing something so dear and close to your hear is enough to crush your soul. We may ask why but is that really for us to know? To have faith is to believe. Believe that it was meant to be. There are many things set in place for reasons beyond our control. Coming into an understanding of what you will do next to move forward will lead you closer to the faith you believe in. There are no chosen words that can make it all disappear but the progression of life will ease the pain. Remember with each passing there’s a new life, with each closed door another opens and with each blown light bulb another shines brighter. It’s not over, it’s just beginning.

Taken For Granted

Good morning, we are blind sided to how much we take for granted. Whether its people, money, jobs or life in general we are fortunate to have these things. Every speck of life should be cherished; every gift offered should be treasured and every being should be loved. Gratitude is not spoken it is felt in each gesture. We are mind boggled by the insolent unappreciative actions of another but have we looked in the mirror. We believe that we have taken the right steps to be true to who we are and others around us but we fall short when it doesn’t benefit us. Dog eat dog, right? Then you are lonely because you just ate your friend. Survival doesn’t mean to take or use. To survive is to persevere, to get along or remain healthy, happy, and unaffected in spite of life’s adversities. The more you take for granted the more you will be affected and struggle. The more you will not survive. Your arrogant ego will be humiliated and brought down to size. Behind your pride you are just trying to survive. Return the love shown, treasure the gifts given and cherish the life lived. The chance of a lifetime has been granted.

Give to Receive

Good morning, in a world of the less challenged we are spoiled believing we are owed something. We take without giving back. To receive you must be willing to give. If your hand is closed tight you will no longer receive gifts of life. There have been struggles that have helped us evolve to see the privileges we have today. As future results of the past, we have not seen these struggles first hand to believe that we are owed anything. We must continue on the same path our past has brought victory from. The struggle is not over. There are many without labor but don’t want to get their hands dirty. You cannot provide prosperity in the home without getting down on your knees and looking up for guidance. Eventually you will be able to wash your hands of the dirt you have cultivated. But do not look as if it is beneath you to start at the bottom before rising to the top. There are no handouts. Nurture the soil that beds your feet to give you balance to stand. The circle of life never ends. Remember you are not owed anything you have not struggled for. Give to receive.

Genius or Insane

Good morning, everyone wants to be a genius but no one wants to be insane. A genius is insane. Insane is exhibiting unsoundness or disorder of the mind; delirious. Each labeled genius introduced something the common brain misconstrues as foolish and unsound. Plato, Leonardo Da Vinci and Albert Einstein, just to name a few have been labeled as pure genius to see beyond the common realm and pull out something beautiful. We appreciate and value their work now for our world would not be the same without it but at first glance they were sought to be crazy and deranged for thinking and believing in a light that only they could see. Pure genius isn’t the society defined high IQ. It’s thinking and believing in the irrational and rickety ideas that no one else took a chance to stand up for. A wise man has wisdom to share even if it’s not instilled within. Become the insane geniuses we look for to inspire insanity.
